This guide should be followed as part of the guide Configuration: Create the reporting period.

The settings stage is where you will finalise the reporting period, including nominating a data source for attendance data.

To begin:

1. Select academic reports, then select configuration.

2. Search for the reporting period.

4. Select completed for each stage.

Optionally select set all as completed.

5. Optionally select to lock the reporting period.

The reporting period should be locked once all reports have been completed to prevent staff from editing reports after they are published.

6. Optionally select disallow personal comments.

7. Select save.

8. Select OK.

4. Select School Bytes for attendance data.

Important: If your school does not use School Bytes for attendance, or you are missing attendance data for this year after beginning to use School Bytes mid year, follow the 'Data migration from Sentral'

5. Enter the from and to dates for the attendance date range.
